Sexual harassment is a massive social problem in Egypt which affects thousands of women daily. At the time of this campaign’s dissemination, sexual harassment was a tabboo subject rarely addressed in a direct manner. Bassita collaborated with the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation to create the largest anti-sexual harassment campaign in the region, thus uniting the private, governmental, developmental, and cinematic sectors. The result was a viral awareness campaign video that sparked a crucial conversation, both online and offline, about this stigmatized issue.
